QuinStar Technology, Inc. General-purpose Pyramidal Standard Gain Horn QGH Series

Description
QuinStar’s QGH series of standard gain horn antennas cover the frequency range of 26.5 to 110 GHz in six waveguide bands with a nominal mid-band gain of 24dB. These horns have a pyramidal shape with a rectangular aperture and a rectangular waveguide interface. These standard gain horns are useful for a wide variety of applications, including antenna testing and RF radiation pattern measurement. These horns are often used as calibration standard or reference for antenna gain measurement. They are also used as feed horns for lens and reflector antennas or stand-alone antennas in subsystems. QuinStar precisely fabricates these horns to control the aperture size and flare angle. They are plated in palladium silver. QuinStar offers custom horn antennas that produce customer-specific beam shapes and gain covering broad ranges. Refer to series QRR for custom feed horns. Pyramidal shape; plated palladium silver on aluminum Rectangular waveguide interface Low VSWR Low cost; light weight
