This variant of our 8638 series features the 3-prong, Clear (transparent) Swiss Plug (SEV 1011) with the Clear (transparent), Right Angle IEC-60320-C13 Connector. These power cords are the standard cords used for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which use the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. This is the Swiss equivalent of the 2500 series, the North American PC Power Cord. This right angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a right angle connector is that when facing the equipment with the connector installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails away to your right-hand side. Extendable/Retractab le cords feature wire that has been wound and molded to have a spring-like ability to maintain its shape. These cords are useful on appliances that require mobility. The 8638.098S is a Swiss power cord that carries the SEV approval and is rated at 10A - 250V. This Swiss power cord can also be used in Liechtenstein.
