This variant of our 8500 series features the standard, 3-prong, European Schuko Plug (CEE 7/7) with the IEC-60320-C13 Connector with the Safety Lock Device. These power cords are the standard cords used for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which use the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. This is the European equivalent of our 2500 series, the North American PC Power Cord. Safety Lock Devices are a semi-permanent form of cable retention, of which the purpose is to prevent unintentional disconnection of devices. Semi-permanent means the connector can be removed at-will, without the aid of tools, but will not detach by accident. The device is formed by a harness that clips onto the C13 mold and snaps into the inlet mounting plate. The 8500.144SL is a European power cord that carries the European, EAC, and KETI approvals and is rated at 10A - 250V.
