Our 5040 series features the domestic, 3-prong, Orange North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with the Orange IEC-60320-C13 Connector. These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?) These power cords are the standard cords used for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which have the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. The plug end inserts into any standard NEMA wall outlet or any NEMA 5-15R receptacle. Shielded wire uses a conductive lining to disperse any external electromagnetic interference and reduce any internal high-frequency noise.
