Our 4931 AL series features the standard, domestic, 3-prong, North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with the Down Angle IEC-60320-C13 Auto-Lock Connector. The IEC Auto-Lock C13 is an internal mechanism that holds the pins of the C14 Plug or Inlet to keep your device from being accidentally unplugged! These components are sturdy yet unplug with ease whenever you want to remove the power cord! These power cords are the standard cords used for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which have the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. The plug end inserts into any standard NEMA wall outlet or any NEMA 5-15R receptacle. This down angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a down angle connector is that when facing the equipment with the connector installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails down and away from your equipment.
