Our 4012 series features the standard, domestic, 3-prong, North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with a 5-splitter (Medusa) that has four (4) Right Angle IEC-60320-C13 Connectors and the NEMA 5-15R Receptacle. These multi-leg North American power cords are recommended for powering networking or computing equipment. The IEC-60320-C13 connectors (x4) can power monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, and sound systems, and any device or appliance that includes the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. The NEMA 5-15R connects to any electronic equipment that uses the NEMA 5-15P. The plug end connects to any standard NEMA wall outlet or 5-15R receptacle, and these are considered space-savers because they provide power to 5 devices while only using 1 outlet. This right angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a right angle connector is that when facing the equipment with the connector installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails away to your right-hand side.
