Our 1665 series features the 3-prong, Down Angle, North American NEMA 6-15P Plug with an ROJ. These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?) These Heavy Duty North American power cords are ideal for powering your custom equipment. This power cord will plug into the NEMA 6-15R wall outlet or receptacle on one end and will hard-wire into your equipment on the other end. This down angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a down angle plug is that when facing the outlet with the plug installed ground-pin-down, the cord trails down and away from the wall socket. An ROJ, or Removed Outer Jacket, is the result of stripping the exterior jacket from the power cord and exposing the conductors for the purpose of hard-wiring the cord into your equipment. Our standard ROJ includes the removal of 2 inches (51mm) of jacket and of 1/4 inch (6mm) of conductor insulation. The 1665.120 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 15A - 250V.
