Our 1070 series features the domestic, 2-prong, North American Polarized Plug (NEMA 1-15P Polarized) with a Split Special. These North American power cords are ideal for powering your custom equipment. This power cord will plug into the standard North American wall outlet or receptacle on one end and will hard-wire into your equipment on the other end. This NEMA 1-15P Polarized Plug incorporates a design feature consisting of an enlarged neutral prong/blade. The enlarged prong/blade allows the plug to be inserted into an outlet in only one manner, guaranteeing that electricity circulates only one way through the cord. A Split Special is the state of peeling the conductors apart on a flat-wire power cord and exposing the conductors, all at varying lengths according to application.
