Our 0480 series features an ROJ with a 5-splitter (Hydra) that has four (4) IEC-60320-C13 Connectors, and an additional Y-split that has an IEC-60320-C7 and an ROJ.
These multi-leg IEC power cords are ideal for powering many varied devices. The male end of this cord hard-wires directly into you power source, and on the other end, 7 legs provide electricity in a couple different ways. The 4 C13s can connect to your monitors, power supplies, servers, routers, hubs, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which use the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. The 2-conductor C7 can power (un-grounded) laptops, notebooks, stereos, game consoles, and electric razors, or any device using the IEC-60320-C8 inlet. The C7 is also referred to as the Figure-8 connector. Finally, an ROJ on the equipment end allows you to hard-wire any components you want. Because these power cords can power 7 devices while only using 1 outlet, we refer to them as space savers.
An ROJ, or Removed Outer Jacket, is the result of stripping the exterior jacket from the power cord and exposing the conductors for the purpose of hard-wiring the cord into your equipment. Our standard ROJ includes the removal of 2 inches (51mm) of jacket and of 1/4 inch (6mm) of conductor insulation.
Our 0480 series power cords are grey cords that carry North American approvals (UL, C-UL), and are rated at 10A ?? 125V.
