Quail Electronics NEMA 5-15P HG CLEAR to ROJ SHIELDED HOME // Power Cords // Hospital Grade Power Cords // Clear Plugs And Connectors 0300.096SD

Description
This variant of the 0300 series features the standard Hospital Grade, Green Dot, NEMA 5-15P Clear (transparent) plug and a Shielded ROJ (Removed Outer Jacket). These Hospital Grade power cords are ideal for powering your custom equipment. This power cord will plug into the Hospital Grade Green Dot 5-15R wall outlet or NEMA 5-15R receptacle on one end and will hard-wire into your equipment on the other end. Quail's Hospital Grade power cords receive special approval from UL which is based on high quality construction and peak performance. The Green Dot marking on the face of the plug indicates the cord has been tested and is ready for use in a hospital environment. Shielded wire uses a conductive lining to disperse any external electromagnetic interference and reduce any internal high-frequency noise. This protects the flow of electricity from electromagnetic fields created by other devices, and also protects the external environment from any EMI created by the power cord itself. A Shielded ROJ (Removed Outer Jacket) occurs when 2 inches (51mm) of the outer jacket has been removed from a power cord that has insulated or double-insulated foil. The conductors of this cord are stripped back 6mm (1/4 inch), but there is one additional conductor, which is the drain wire that removes residual current generated in and around the power cord by electro-magnetic interference. Our 0300 series power cords are grey cords that carry North American approvals (UL, C-UL), and are rated at 10A ?? 125V.
