Our 0180 series features a Shielded ROJ Special with the IEC-60320-C13 Connector. These power cords are ideal for hard-wiring into your power source to provide electricity for your devices. The IEC-60320-C13 end is compatible with many devices and appliances that use the C14 inlet, including monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, and sound systems. Shielded wire uses a conductive lining to disperse any external electromagnetic interference and reduce any internal high-frequency noise. This protects the flow of electricity from electromagnetic fields created by other devices, and also protects the external environment from any electromagnetic field created by the power cord itself. A Special Shielded ROJ (Removed Outer Jacket) occurs when a portion of the outer jacket has been removed from a power cord that has insulated or double-insulated foil. These cords will feature a drain wire alongside stripped conductors of varying lengths that may include special terminals: ring, quick disconnect, flag, spade, etc ... The 0180.118 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 250V.
