Description
Our 0153 series features an ROJ Shielded with the Clear (transparent) IEC-60320-C19 Connector.
These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?)
These IEC power cords are recommended for PDUs, servers, and UPSs. The supply end hard-wires directly into your device, while the female end connects to any device or appliance that has an IEC-60320-C20 inlet.
Shielded wire uses a conductive lining to disperse any external electromagnetic interference and reduce any internal high-frequency noise. This protects the flow of electricity from electromagnetic fields created by other devices, and also protects the external environment from any electromagnetic field created by the power cord itself.
A Shielded ROJ (Removed Outer Jacket) occurs when 2 inches (51mm) of the outer jacket has been removed from a power cord that has insulated or double-insulated foil. The conductors of this cord are stripped back 1/4 inch (6mm), but there is one additional conductor, which is the drain wire that removes residual current generated in and around the power cord by electro-magnetic interference.
The 0153.118C is a grey power cord that carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 20A -250V.
This North American power cord can also be used in the following countries: Bahamas Jamaica Barbados Laos Belize Mexico Canada Micronesia Cayman Islands Nicaragua Costa Rica No. Mariana Island Cuba Palmyra Atoll Dominican Republic Panama Ecuador Peru El Salvador Philippines Guam Puerto Rico Guatemala Thailand Haiti Venezuela Honduras Virgin Islands
