The Model 233 Air Flow Switch is designed to detect the loss of airflow in a mine shaft. When mounted near the mine fan, the Model 233 will detect air stoppages due to the loss of power, mechanical breakdown or cave-in. Only one simple moving part, it can be connected to an alarm reporting device (such as our Model 630/631 Multiguard or Model 248 Monitor/Alarm) that will accept a switch closure as an alarm condition. Switch contacts are rated at 110 VAC, 10 watt. Normally closed contacts. Stainless steel tube. .5 amp switch contacts. Hermetically sealed switch. Easy to install.
