The Model 233 Air Flow Switch is designed to detect the loss of airflow in a mine shaft. When mounted near the mine fan, the Model 233 will detect air stoppages due to the loss of power, mechanical breakdown or cave-in. Only one simple moving part, it can be connected to an alarm reporting device (such as our Model 630/631 Multiguard or Model 248 Monitor/Alarm) that will accept a switch closure as an alarm condition.
