The ProLinx family Modbus Plus to Modbus TCP/IP communications module (5303-MBP-MNET) creates a powerful connection between devices on a Modbus TCP/IP network and a Modbus Plus device. The module is a stand-alone DIN rail-mounted protocol gateway that provides one Modbus Plus configurable DB9F port and one Ethernet port.
The Modbus Plus protocol driver exists in dual Modbus Plus Ports (MBP). The driver can be configured on an individual port basis as either a master or a slave to interface with other Modbus Plus devices. The Modbus port is fully configurable, providing a great deal of flexibility.
The Modbus TCP/IP (MNET) driver can be used to interface many different protocols into the Schneider Electric Quantum family of processors as well other software solutions supporting the protocol. The MNET driver supports Client connections as well as Server connections.
