ProSoft Technology, Inc. Modbus Plus To EtherNet/IP 5303-MBP-DFNT

The ProLinx family Modbus Plus to EtherNet/IP communications module (5303-MBP-DFNT) creates a powerful connection between devices on an EtherNet/IP network and a Modbus Plus device. The module is a stand-alone DIN rail-mounted protocol gateway that provides one Modbus Plus configurable DB9F port and one Ethernet port. The Modbus Plus protocol driver exists in dual Modbus Plus Ports (MBP). The driver can be configured on an individual port basis as either a master or a slave to interface with other Modbus Plus devices. The Modbus port is fully configurable, providing a great deal of flexibility. The Ethernet/IP (DFNT) protocol driver supports the Explicit Messaging implementation of the protocol. User-configurable as both a Client and a Server, the EtherNet/IP port is a very powerful data transfer tool.
