Powerex, Inc. 600V 50A IGBT Transistor PS11017

PS11017 is a flat-base, insulated application-specific intelligent power module integrating a 3-phase IGBT inverter bridge and braking circuit for motor control applications up to 3.7kW/AC200V. The module has 36 terminals and measures 105mm × 63.5mm × 17.5mm. It supports a maximum DC bus voltage of 450V and peak collector current of 50A for the inverter IGBTs and 15A for the brake IGBT. Junction temperature ranges from −20°C to +125°C, with case temperature limited to +100°C. Isolation voltage is 2500 Vrms. Integrated protection includes short-circuit, under-voltage, over-voltage, and over-temperature fault detection with fault output signals. Control inputs are 5V CMOS/TTL compatible. The inverter output current is rated at 17.0A rms (100% load) and 25.5A rms (150% for 1 minute). Thermal resistance from junction to case is 1.75°C/W for the inverter IGBT and 2.9°C/W for the brake IGBT. The module includes built-in bootstrap circuitry, current sensing, and open-collector fault and warning outputs.
