PSL provides bespoke high containment retrofit systems to existing capsule filling machines and tablet presses.
PSL has collaborated with Capsugel in the design and manufacture of the Xceloprotect™ isolator. Capsugel’s Xcelodose® precision powder micro-dosing system is integrated into the Xceloprotect isolator to provide high operator protection when filling potent compounds and to inhibit vibration transfer.
Existing machines in the field can be retrofitted with a special kit. All mechanical and electrical mechanisms of the Xcelodose system are contained within the lower half of the isolator to avoid contamination and facilitate easy access without breaking containment.
