PolyMax,Ñ¢ PC is a 2.85 mm black 3D filament designed for engineering applications, offering a combination of strength, toughness, and heat resistance. It has a density of 1.18 ,Äì 1.20 g/cm¬= and a glass transition temperature of 113 ¬8C. The Vicat softening temperature is 117 ¬8C, and it has a decomposition temperature exceeding 360 ¬8C. Mechanical properties include a Young's modulus of 2048 ¬± 66 MPa, tensile strength of 59.7 ¬± 1.8 MPa, and elongation at break of 12.2 ¬± 1.4%. The filament is recommended for printing at nozzle temperatures between 250 ¬8C and 270 ¬8C, with a build plate temperature of 90 ¬8C to 105 ¬8C. It is advised to use an enclosure during printing and to anneal printed parts at 100 ¬8C for 2 hours to relieve internal stresses. This filament is RoHS compliant and suitable for a variety of applications where durability and heat resistance are critical.
