Polyguard Products, Inc. Drainage and Protection System PolyFlow® 18H

Polyguard Flow 18H Drainage and Protection System is a strong (18,000 lb/ft2 compressive strength) "Dimple board" system for normal horizontal applications. POLYGUARD DRAINAGE MATS are three-part prefabricated geocomposite drain consisting of a formed polystyrene core covered on one side with polypropylene filter fabric. The fabric allows water to pass into the drain core while restricting the movement of soil particles which might clog the core. The core allows the water to flow to designated drainage exits. POLYGUARD FLOW 15-P is designed primarily for vertical applications and POLYGUARD FLOW 18-H is designed for horizontal applications. POLYGUARD DRAINAGE MATS also have a built-in film protection layer. Use of a protection board is not necessary on most applications as the polymeric film layer protects softer waterproofing materials such as POLYGUARD 650 waterproofing membrane. The many uses include foundation walls, retaining walls, inclined drains, french drains, trench drains, interceptor drains, embankment drainage, athletic fields, earthen dams, planters, under slabs, and under pavers.
