Polyguard Products, Inc. Vapor Barrier Membrane Insulrap 30 NG

Polyguard's Insulrap™ 30 NG is a 30-MIL thick peel 'n stick vapor retarder membrane for cold piping systems. Insulrap 30 NG is to be designed to be installed as a vapor retarder under mechanical jacketing. I-30 NG is not UV stable and cannot be exposed to UV lighting for an extended period of time. I-30 NG is constructed using a 6-MIL polyester scrim reinforced polyethylene membrane laminated to 24-MILs of rubberized bitumen compound. The polyester scrim strengthens the membrane and provides improved directional strength to the product. This is especially helpful to fabricators who pre-apply the product to fabricated foam insulations, significantly lessening the "hour glass" stretching with non-reinforced membranes. I-30 NG has the properties necessary to tolerate up to 300% elongation before break, so it will expand and contract with the piping system. The upper service temperature limit is 150°F (insulation surface temperature).
