The PS-12-MC is an enclosed constant current power supply designed for Placid Industries brakes up to 220 lb.-in. and clutches up to 130 lb.-in. torque, providing 0-12 volts DC at up to 1.25 amps with a maximum output of 15 watts. It is controlled via a front-panel 3/4-turn potentiometer or an external 0-10 volt input signal, with SPAN MAX and SPAN MIN adjustments to set current limits. The unit has a 2000 ohm input resistance for the 0-10 volt signal, includes an LED power indicator and LCD ammeter, and accepts 120 VAC input at 50/60 Hz with a 1-amp fuse. It measures 8 inches by 6-5/8 inches and includes a terminal strip for output, ground, control inputs, and a switch to select manual or external control mode.
For DC brakes and clutches requiring up to 0.75 amperes at 24 volts, or 1.25 amps at 12 volts. Plug in, connect the brake or clutch, and you're ready to go with some simple adjustments.
