The linear drive voice coil series was developed for exact positioning of components over a long travel range.
The stages are based on a voice coil actuating principle. The fast response time and the maximum speed of 200 mm/sec make the systems ideally suited for precise positioning of small components over a travel range of up to 20 mm. One of the key features, besides the long travel range, is the generated force of 18 N.
The systems are equipped with a high resolution linear encoder for use during closed loop control. To support the high performance of the L 100 and L 200 linear stages, piezosystem jena offers the controller units VCC 3 and VCC 7, with serial interfaces and integrated function generators.
With the excellent technical parameters and an accurate precision of 100 nm, the L 100 and L 200 close the gap between high precision piezo positioning stages of piezosystem jena and motorized positioning stages available on the market.
