The 120-1-A-12/1 is a single-pole, normally open reed relay with a 12 V coil, designed for high-density switching applications such as A.T.E. matrices, using a 4 mm × 4 mm SMD package on a 2 mm pin pitch. It features a sputtered ruthenium switch rated for 1 A and 20 W at 200 V, with insulation resistance exceeding 10¹² Ω and 2.9 pF contact capacitance. Internal mu-metal screening minimizes magnetic interference. Operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to +85 °C, and soldering is limited to 270 °C for 10 seconds. Coil resistance is 800 Ω. No internal diode is included; external back EMF suppression may be required. Typical life is 10⁹ operations under low-load conditions and 10⁷ under maximum ratings.
