The 109RF50-1-A-5/1D is a 50 Ω coaxial reed relay in the Micro-SIL® Series 109, designed for high-density switching applications such as A.T.E. systems. It features a 5 V coil with 375 Ω resistance, a sputtered ruthenium contact switch rated for 20 W at 200 V, and a contact current capacity of 1 A. The relay is housed in a through-hole package with Mu-metal magnetic screening, ensuring less than 1% magnetic interaction when stacked on a 0.15 in × 0.6 in pitch. Insulation resistance exceeds 10¹² Ω, and contact capacitance is 2.5 pF across the closed switch. Operating temperature range is -20 °C to +85 °C, with a soldering temperature limit of 270 °C for 10 seconds. An internal back EMF clamp diode is not included in this variant.
