The 109-1-B-5/2D is a single pole normally closed (SPST-NC) reed relay in the Micro-SIL® Series 109, designed for low-level switching applications using a sputtered ruthenium contact. It operates at 5 V with a coil resistance of 750 Ω and has a switching current rating of 0.5 A and a maximum switching voltage of 200 V. The relay features mu-metal magnetic screening, providing typical magnetic interaction of 1%, and is suitable for high-density PCB applications. It has an insulation resistance exceeding 10¹² Ω, a contact capacitance of 0.1 pF when open, and a typical operate time of 0.75 ms. The device is offered in a through-hole package with a pin pitch of 0.15 in. x 0.6 in. and is rated for operation from -20 °C to +85 °C.
