The 109-1-A-5/1D is a single-pole normally open reed relay with a 5 V coil, designed for low-level switching applications in high-density instrumentation systems. It features a Mu-metal magnetic shield for minimal magnetic interaction, with typical interaction of 1 percent when stacked on a 0.15 in × 0.6 in pitch. The relay uses a general-purpose switch (switch no. 1) with a contact resistance of 0.15 Ω, capable of switching up to 20 W at 200 V and carrying 1 A. It has an insulation resistance greater than 10¹² Ω, operate time of 0.5 ms, and release time of 0.2 ms. The package type is through-hole, and it includes an optional internal back EMF clamping diode. Operating temperature range is -20 °C to +85 °C, with storage from -35 °C to +100 °C.
