The 108-2-A-5/2D is a dual-form-A reed relay in the Micro-SIL® Series 108, designed for high-end instrumentation applications with magnetic shielding to prevent interaction in dense layouts. It features a 5 V coil with 375 Ω resistance, suitable for direct TTL logic drive, and switches up to 1 A at 20 W per contact. The relay is encapsulated in a mu-metal can on a 0.15" (3.8 mm) pitch, with a typical magnetic interaction of 1%. Contact resistance is ≤0.15 Ω, insulation resistance exceeds 10¹² Ω, and capacitance across open contacts is 0.15 pF. It operates from -20 °C to +85 °C and supports up to 10⁹ operations at low-level loads. The part includes an internal diode for coil protection.
