The 108-1-A-5/1D is a single-form A reed relay with a 5 V coil and an internal diode, designed for high-end instrumentation applications. It is encapsulated in a mu-metal magnetic can with a 0.15" (3.8 mm) pitch, allowing dense packing without magnetic interaction. The relay switches up to 1 A at 20 W with a contact resistance of 0.15 Ω and insulation resistance exceeding 10ⁱ Ω. The coil resistance is 500 Ω, enabling direct TTL logic drive, and it operates with a maximum must-operate voltage of 3.75 V at 25 °C. Typical operate time is 0.5 ms with a release time of 0.2 ms. The device supports a temperature range of −20 °C to +85 °C, has a shock resistance of 50 g, and is fully sealed for washability.
