The Pickering Series 103 reed relay is a single-in-line, through-hole mounted device designed for low-capacitance switching applications such as A.T.E. matrices and RF circuits. The 103-1-A-5/2D variant features a 5V coil, a vacuum sputtered ruthenium contact for low-level switching, 150 Ω coil resistance, and a switching power rating of 10 W at 0.5 A. It has typical inter-terminal capacitance of 0.1 pF across open contacts and 0.12 Ω contact resistance. The relay supports operate and release times of 0.5 ms and 0.2 ms respectively, and operates within a temperature range of -20 °C to +85 °C. Its insulation resistance exceeds 10¹² Ω. Package Type 1 is used, with pin compatibility to standard 0.2 inch SIL relays.
