The Pickering Series 107-1-A-5/1D is a single pole, Form A reed relay with a 5 V coil, internal diode, and general purpose switch rated for 1.2 A switching current and 20 W power at 12 or 24 V, or 15 W at 5 V. It features a mu-metal can for magnetic shielding, dry switch contacts with a maximum contact resistance of 0.15 Ω, insulation resistance exceeding 10¹² Ω, and capacitance of 2.5 pF across the open switch. The relay measures 19.1 mm long by 4.8 mm wide, and is designed for stacking on 5.08 mm (0.2 inch) pitch. Typical operate time is 0.5 ms, release time is 0.2 ms, and life expectancy is up to 10⁹ operations under low-load conditions. The part must be mounted with correct coil polarity due to the internal diode.
The Series 107 Mini-SIL range of reed relays are intended for stacking on 0.2 inches (5.08mm) pitch. Their small size, superb contact resistance stability and ultra high insulation resistance, make these relays an ideal choice for high quality instrumentation.
