The Pickering Series 105 is a range of single-in-line reed relays with internal mu-metal magnetic shielding for high packing density. The 105-1-B-24/2D is a single-pole, Form B (energize to break) relay with a 24 V coil, internal diode, and low-level switch contacts rated for up to 1 A at 20 W DC. It has a typical contact resistance of 0.15 Ω, insulation resistance greater than 10¹² Ω, and an operate time of 0.5 ms. The relay is packaged in a plastic case with a pin configuration compatible with other Series 105 variants and requires vertical mounting if mercury wetted. Dimensions are 19.1 mm (0.75 in) in length, 6.6 mm (0.26 in) in width, and 3.3 mm (0.125 in) in height.
The Series 105 is a range of Single-in Line reed relays, available with a wide variety of switching confi gurations and switch types, including mercury wetted versions. They feature internal mu-metal magnetic screens which allow high packing density without the risk of magnetic interaction problems.
The Pickering Series 100, 101, 103, 106, 107 and 108 all have the same pin locations as the Series 105. If a reduced coil power is desired, please consider our Series 100 and 101 which may be driven directly from CMOS logic. If a higher packing density is required, smaller devices are available in other Pickering SIL ranges.
