The Pickering Series 105 is a range of single-in-line reed relays with internal mu-metal magnetic shielding for high packing density without magnetic interaction. The 105-1-B-24/1D is a single pole, Form B (energize to break) relay with a 24 V DC coil and an integrated diode. It switches up to 1 A at 20 Watts for dry reed contacts, with a maximum contact resistance of 0.15 Ω, insulation resistance greater than 10¹² Ω, and typical contact capacitance of 2.5 pF when open and 0.1 pF when closed. It has a typical operate time of 0.5 ms and release time of 0.2 ms. The relay is encapsulated in a plastic package with a consistent pin configuration across dry and mercury wetted variants, allowing PCB layout compatibility. Dimensions are 19.1 mm in length, 6.6 mm in width, and 3.3 mm in height.
The Series 105 is a range of Single-in Line reed relays, available with a wide variety of switching confi gurations and switch types, including mercury wetted versions. They feature internal mu-metal magnetic screens which allow high packing density without the risk of magnetic interaction problems.
The Pickering Series 100, 101, 103, 106, 107 and 108 all have the same pin locations as the Series 105. If a reduced coil power is desired, please consider our Series 100 and 101 which may be driven directly from CMOS logic. If a higher packing density is required, smaller devices are available in other Pickering SIL ranges.
