The Pickering Series 105 is a single-in-line reed relay with a plastic package and internal mu-metal magnetic screen, designed for high-density mounting without magnetic interference. It features a 5V coil, 1 Form A switch configuration, and a general purpose switch (No. 1) rated for up to 1 A at 20 W with dry contacts. The relay has an initial contact resistance of 0.15 Ω, insulation resistance greater than 10^12 Ω, and typical capacitance of 2.5 pF across the open switch. Pin configuration and footprint comply with the Series 105 family, allowing interchangeable use with other variants. The relay is 100% tested for dynamic contact resistance, with an operate time of 0.5 ms and release time of 0.2 ms.
The Series 105 is a range of Single-in Line reed relays, available with a wide variety of switching confi gurations and switch types, including mercury wetted versions. They feature internal mu-metal magnetic screens which allow high packing density without the risk of magnetic interaction problems.
The Pickering Series 100, 101, 103, 106, 107 and 108 all have the same pin locations as the Series 105. If a reduced coil power is desired, please consider our Series 100 and 101 which may be driven directly from CMOS logic. If a higher packing density is required, smaller devices are available in other Pickering SIL ranges.
