Pickering Electronics Series 100 100-2-A-24/2D

Description
The Pickering Series 100 is a complete range of Single-in- Line (SIL) reed relays primarily intended for direct drive from 4000B CMOS or NMOS logic or similar low current sources. The mercury wetted relays in the range may be driven directly from TTL logic. They are also useful for applications where conservation of current is important, for example, battery powered equipment. The extremely low level of thermal EMF, about 1 microvolt or less, of the dry versions make them ideally suited to applications such as data acquisition or thermocouple switching. An internal mu-metal magnetic screen is fi tted to avoid the effects of magnetic interaction between relays.

Datasheet Summary
Powered by GS/AI

The Pickering Series 100-2-A-24/2D is a two-pole reed relay designed for low power applications, suitable for direct drive from CMOS or NMOS logic. It features a coil voltage of 24V and offers a power rating of 10 watts at 200V. The relay has a maximum switching current of 0.5A and a maximum carry current of 1.2A. It is encapsulated in a plastic package with an internal mu-metal magnetic screen to minimize magnetic interference. The relay is characterized by low thermal EMF, approximately 1 microvolt or less, making it ideal for sensitive applications such as data acquisition. The insulation resistance exceeds 10^12 ohms for dry Form A devices, ensuring reliable performance. The relay is 100% tested for dynamic contact resistance, providing assurance of its operational integrity.
