Pickering Electronics Series 100 100-1-C-12/3D

Description
The Pickering Series 100 is a complete range of Single-in- Line (SIL) reed relays primarily intended for direct drive from 4000B CMOS or NMOS logic or similar low current sources. The mercury wetted relays in the range may be driven directly from TTL logic. They are also useful for applications where conservation of current is important, for example, battery powered equipment. The extremely low level of thermal EMF, about 1 microvolt or less, of the dry versions make them ideally suited to applications such as data acquisition or thermocouple switching. An internal mu-metal magnetic screen is fi tted to avoid the effects of magnetic interaction between relays.

Datasheet Summary
Powered by GS/AI

The Pickering Series 100 includes single-in-line reed relays designed for direct drive from low-current logic sources such as 4000B CMOS or NMOS. The 100-1-C-12/3D is a 12V coil, 1 Form C (change-over) dry switch variant with a contact resistance of 0.20 Ω, insulation resistance exceeding 10¹² Ω, and a typical switch capacitance of 3.5 pF across the closed contact and 0.1 pF across the open contact. It is housed in a plastic package with an internal mu-metal magnetic screen to prevent magnetic interference. The relay operates with a maximum coil power of 6800 Ω at 12V, has a typical operate time of 1.0 ms, and is rated for switching 3 watts at 200V. Thermal EMF is approximately 1 microvolt or less. The part includes an internal diode for suppression, as indicated by the "/D" suffix.
