Pickering Electronics Series 100 100-1-C-12/3

Description
The Pickering Series 100 is a complete range of Single-in- Line (SIL) reed relays primarily intended for direct drive from 4000B CMOS or NMOS logic or similar low current sources. The mercury wetted relays in the range may be driven directly from TTL logic. They are also useful for applications where conservation of current is important, for example, battery powered equipment. The extremely low level of thermal EMF, about 1 microvolt or less, of the dry versions make them ideally suited to applications such as data acquisition or thermocouple switching. An internal mu-metal magnetic screen is fi tted to avoid the effects of magnetic interaction between relays.

Datasheet Summary
Powered by GS/AI

The Pickering Series 100 is a range of single-in-line reed relays designed for direct drive from CMOS or NMOS logic, with low thermal EMF of about 1 microvolt or less, suited for data acquisition and thermocouple switching. The 1 Form C (change-over) variant features a 12 V coil, 0.20 Ω contact resistance, insulation resistance of at least 10^12 Ω, capacitance of 3.5 pF across the closed switch and 0.1 pF across the open switch, and a switching rating of 3 watts at 200 V. The relay is encapsulated in a plastic package with an internal mu-metal magnetic screen and has an operate time of 1.0 ms. Its dimensions are 24.1 mm length by 10.2 mm width with a five-pin configuration. Dry and mercury wetted versions are available with identical footprints. This part requires vertical mounting and correct coil polarity when an internal diode is fitted.
