Rose+Bopla’s ABS Watertight 09 enclosures are designed for a wide variety of electronic packaging applications. They are particularly suited for enclosing electrical and electronic components and housing complete small control systems. These enclosures have been used for solar panel control boxes, medical oxygen monitors and electronic lighting dimmer control housings. The ABS Watertight 09 enclosure offers the lowest cost in our watertight enclosure line. ABS is an excellent alternative when reduced material characteristics are sufficient. The low cost makes these boxes ideal for large production runs. Made from injection-molded ABS plastic (Acylonitrile-Butadi ne-Styrene), the enclosure includes a base and lid, captive stainless steel lid screws, molded-in lid screw inserts in the base, and a neoprene watertight gasket. Metric press-in brass inserts for internal mounting bosses are also available.
