The ASM 340D is a leak detector for helium and hydrogen, using spraying and sniffing methods with a minimum detectable leak rate of 1 × 10⁻¹² mbar·l/s in spraying tests and 5 × 10⁻⁹ mbar·l/s in sniffing tests. It features a diaphragm pump, a helium pumping speed of 2.5 l/s, and a maximum test inlet pressure of 25 mbar. The unit has a start-up time of 3 minutes and a response time under 1 second. It operates on universal 100-240 V (50/60 Hz) power with a maximum consumption of 600 W. The operating temperature range is 0-35 °C for spraying and 0-40 °C for sniffing tests. It includes I/O, RS-232, Ethernet, and Profibus communication interfaces. The dimensions are 594 × 375 × 389 mm, with a DN 25 ISO-KF inlet port. The weight is approximately 45 kg and the sound pressure level is 52 dB(A).
User-friendly: High resolution color touch display, detachable control panel for easy handling when testing on medium or large-size parts Accurate: High sensitivity, ultra-fast response and short recovery time Flexible: Available in wet/dry versions as well as without backing pump, extended range of accessories, suitable for a wide range of maintenance and production applications
