The TSOS-256-312 is a self-clinching threaded standoff designed for use in metal sheets as thin as .025 inches (0.63 mm). This product is part of the TSO series, which is specifically engineered to provide permanent threads in thinner materials compared to standard standoffs. The TSOS type is suitable for installation in steel or aluminum sheets with specific hardness ratings, ensuring reliable performance in various applications. The standoff is made from hardened stainless steel, offering durability and resistance to corrosion, especially when optional nickel plating is applied.
