The TSO4-M3-1800 is a self-clinching standoff designed for installation in ultra-thin stainless steel sheets with a minimum thickness of 0.63 mm (0.025 inches). This product features a single groove identifier and is made from heat-treated 400 series stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. The standoff is passivated and/or tested per ASTM A380, making it suitable for applications with a hardness rating of HRB 88 or HB 183 or less. Installation requires a properly sized mounting hole, and the standoff is embedded flush into the sheet using a specific installation punch and anvil. The TSO4-M3-1800 offers various thread sizes and lengths, with the length specified in increments of 0.001 inches or 0.02 mm.
