PennEngineering® Threaded Standoffs for Stainless Sheets as Thin as 0.63mm TSO4-M25-200

The TSO4-M25-200 is a self-clinching standoff designed for installation in ultra-thin stainless steel sheets with a minimum thickness of 0.63 mm (0.025 inches). This product features a single groove identifier and is made from heat-treated 400 series stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. The standoff is passivated and/or tested per ASTM A380, making it suitable for applications where the hardness of the sheet material is HRB 88 or HB 183 or less. Installation requires a properly sized mounting hole, and the standoff is embedded flush into the sheet using a specific installation punch and anvil. The standoff provides high pushout and torque-out resistance, with average values reported at 5700 lbs (25.4 kN) for pushout and 125 lbs (555 N) for torque-out, depending on the installation specifications. This product is ideal for applications requiring reliable fastening solutions in thin stainless steel materials.
