SOA-M3-18 is a thru-hole threaded standoff designed for use in aluminum sheets with a hardness of HRB 50 or HB 82 or less. This standoff utilizes a self-clinching design, allowing it to be permanently mounted in thin sheets, typically as thin as 0.025 inches (0.63 mm). The SOA type is suitable for applications requiring a secure and flush installation, making it ideal for mounting, spacing, or stacking panels and components. The standoff is made from hardened stainless steel, providing durability and strength. An optional nickel plating is available for enhanced corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The product is compatible with standard M3 threads and is designed to meet stringent quality standards.
These standoffs, which use the proven self-clinching design, install with a squeeze in properly sized round holes - and become permanently mounted in the thin sheet.
