PennEngineering® Large Knob, Spring-loaded - PEM C.A.P.S. - Unified PF11PM-440-0-M

PF11PM is a spring-loaded, captive panel screw with a Phillips drive and a plastic PC/ABS knob, designed for installation into thin sheets with hardness up to HRB 80 or HB 150. It features an external unified thread, a hardened carbon steel screw and retainer, and a 300 series stainless steel spring. The knob is black by default, with optional color codes available on special order. The part installs with a single ribbed shoulder for positive stop and supports a minimum float of 0.25mm in all directions. It is rated for temperatures up to 99°C and complies with UL 94V-0 for the knob material. The assembly includes a retaining clip and employs a dot pattern to indicate metric threading, though this variant uses Unified threads. Installation requires a #2 driver and compatible hole spacing as specified for the 4-40 thread size.
