PennEngineering® Large knob, spring-loaded Types PF11 and PF12 - Metric PF11-M3-1

PF11 series captive panel screws are spring-loaded, large-knob fasteners designed for secure attachment of thin metal panels with subsequent access required. They install into standardized M3, M4, M5, and M6 threads, with a retainer pushout rating of 6.7 lbf (355 N) in aluminum and 11.1 lbf (645 N) in cold-rolled steel. The fastener features a shoulder on the retainer for positive installation stop and is available in self-clinching mounting style. The series includes variants with knurled or un-knurled metal caps, black metal caps, or custom-colored plastic caps.
