The BSOS-032-10 is a blind threaded standoff from PennEngineering® designed for self-clinching applications. It is suitable for installation in metal sheets as thin as 0.025 inches (0.63 mm) and provides a flush outer surface after installation. This standoff is made from hardened stainless steel, making it ideal for use in environments where corrosion resistance is necessary. The product features a unified thread size of #10-32 and a length of 0.625 inches. It is recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets with specific hardness ratings, ensuring reliable performance in various applications. Custom sizes are available upon request, allowing for flexibility in design and implementation.
These standoffs, which use the proven self-clinching design, install with a squeeze in properly sized round holes - and become permanently mounted in the thin sheet.
When blind-threaded types are used, outer sheet surfaces are not only flush, but closed as well.
