The BSOA-M3-5-20 is a blind threaded standoff designed for self-clinching applications, suitable for mounting, spacing, or stacking panels. It is specifically engineered to be pressed into round holes in metal sheets as thin as 0.025 inches (0.63 mm), providing a permanent installation. This standoff is made from hardened stainless steel, making it ideal for use in environments where corrosion resistance is necessary. The BSOA series allows for flush outer surfaces, ensuring a clean finish on the assembly. It is compatible with M3 thread size and has a length of 20 mm. The product is suitable for applications requiring a robust and reliable fastening solution in various metal sheet thicknesses.
These standoffs, which use the proven self-clinching design, install with a squeeze in properly sized round holes - and become permanently mounted in the thin sheet.
When blind-threaded types are used, outer sheet surfaces are not only flush, but closed as well.
