BSO4-832-12 is a blind threaded standoff designed for installation into stainless steel sheets as thin as 0.040 in., providing internally threaded spacing with a flush closed-end head. It features a #8-32 thread, an overall length of 0.375 in., a nominal hole size of 0.281 in., and a minimum distance from the hole center to the edge of 0.31 in. These standoffs, which use the proven self-clinching design, install with a squeeze in properly sized round holes - and become permanently mounted in the thin sheet.
Types BSO4 standoffs are for installation into stainless steel sheets as thin as .040”.
