PCE-0100 is a handheld refractometer for measuring salinity in parts per thousand (ppt) and specific gravity (SG) in salt water, seawater, and saline solutions. It features a double-scale display, automatic temperature compensation (ATC) spanning 10 to 30 °C, and requires only ambient light for readability. The device has a resolution of 1% or 0.001, an accuracy of ±0.1%, and is calibrated with distilled water at 20 °C. It measures approximately 200 mm in length and 29 mm in diameter, weighing about 300 g.
