Completely miscible in water, Pavchrome 95 can be used in chromating zinc deposited from alkaline non-cyanide, cyanide, and acid chloride solutions. Work chromated in Pavchrome 95 has the blue bright appearance of chromium, providing protection from staining and finger prints while producing a desirable base for dyeing operations and both air-dried and baked lacquer coatings.
