larger image Conoco Rock Drill Oil is an adhesive, extreme-pressure lubricant specially developed for the lubrication of air-powered tools such as rock drills, jackhammers, pavement breakers and drifters. It also may be used for the lubrication of machine tool slideways. Rock Drill Oil is available in seven viscosity grades, ISO 32 through ISO 320, to cover a wide range of applications and operating temperatures. It is formulated with high-quality paraffinic base oils and select additives tailored to provide maximum protection for pneumatic percussion tools. It has high load-carrying capacity to protect against wear and seizure of sliding metal surfaces under heavy or shock-load conditions. It has good adhesiveness to metal surfaces in the presence of moisture, and contains inhibitors to protect against rust and corrosion. It has good oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures for long service life.
